Hi, I’m Jae.
I’m working as TD at Sony pictures imageworks Vancouver. My resposibilities spans helping lighting and compositing teams by making tools, debugging and troubleshooting issues and optimizing renders and workflows. I like to dig into deep inside of problems and find a good solution we can afford. I’m enjoying learning new things and techniques from artists, engineers and other TDs. I think that’s what makes my journey as TD grateful. I always like to improve my engineering skills as well, really love to read well-written codes anywhere as well as at work.
I hope my learning experiences also can help someone who struggling to learn codes by yourself or planning to shift from artist to technical aspect.
